The Gugulethu Project
The Gugulethu Project was a coal processing plant relocation project done for Canyon Coal. The aim of the project was to move the plant from Hakhano Colliery in Middelburg to Canyon’s latest Hendrina site.
The project was successfully completed in under 14 months which includes the fabrications, steel work, equipment installations, painting and commissioning of the plant. Additionally ACH upgraded the plant capacity from 400t/hr to 500t/hr as part of the improvements of the plant.
Rotary Breaker Projects
ACH Group has completed a number of rotary breaker projects for various clients in various industries. The rotary breaker projects includes design, fabrication, assembling and transportation to site after which the breaker is installed, commisioned and later on serviced and maintained.Â
ACH Group has successfully completed this project for a number of clients, which to name a few includes: Koornfontein mine, Seriti, Eskom Plants and more.
The Harrow Project
ACH Group successfully completed a harrow project for South Eskom Plant, Seriti feeding Duvha Power Station, where a circular reclaimer harrow was designed, refubrished, assembled and installed on the reclaimer.Â
ACH Group has successfully completed this project for a number of clients, which to name a few includes: Koornfontein mine, Seriti, Eskom Plants and more.
Conveyor Tripper Car Projects
ACH Group successfully completed a number of tripper car projects for various clients. The project includes the design, fabrication, assembling and transportation to site after which the tripper car is installed, commissioned and maintained as an after sale support contract.
ACH Group has successfully completed this project for a number of clients, which to name a few includes: Arnot Power Generation, Eskom Plants and more.
ASH HANDLING PLANT MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
ACH Group carried out long term contracts at Tutuka Power Station and Majuba Power Station for the delivery of comprehensive maintenance, repair work and replacement of mechanical components and equipment of the following systems:
- Submersible Scraper Conveyors
- Short and Long Coarse Ash Conveyors
- Ash Conditioning Systems
- Transverse Conveyors and drives
- Cross Conveying Systems
- In-loading Conveying Systems
- Overland Conveyors and drives
- Thyssen Krupp Ash Stackers and Ash Spreader systems
ACH Group performed Planned, Corrective, Preventative and Opportunity Maintenance as well as all the planning and scheduling associated with the Ash Plants in accordance with clients Works Management Process and ACH Group ISO Integrated Management System
