1. LEVEL 1 QUALITY CONTROLLER
ACH Workshop (Mpumalanga) | Closing date 16th Jan 2026 | External/Internal | Full Time

Qualifications Required
Education: National Diploma In Mechanical or Trade test in Plaster Shop/Boilermaker
Certifications: Quality Management Certificate
WeldingInspector Level 1 or 2

Experience and Skills Requirements
• At least 3 years in Fabrication.

• On-Site erection and commissioning experience.

• Strong Supervision and Organisational Skills combined with the ability to manage conflict

• Good knowledge and understanding of Legislative Acts (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, OHS Act, etc.)


• Ability to communicate clearly in Written or Verbal Communication



Duties and Responsibilities
* Quality inspections: Inspect materials, in-process products, and finished products for quality

* Material Verification: Verify raw materials match orders and certifications

* Material Traceability: Maintain material traceability throughout production

* Welding Inspections: Oversee weld quality (ISO 3834) and support NDT

* Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conforming products

* Defect Correction & Quality Improvement: Collaborate to resolve defects and drive improvements QC Procedures: Keep accurate inspection and test records

* Data Books: Prepare documentation for product release

* Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained

* Compliance: Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO 9001)
