What we are looking for :

Experience and Skills Requirements:


• Diploma in Human Resource Management or related qualification.

• 2-4 years Human Resources experience, preferably within the mining or industrial sector. • Drivers License - Must have. • Knowledge and experience in Industrial Relations processes, including disciplinary hearings and grievance management. • Understanding of South African labour legislation.
• Experience with HR systems such as Pastel and Sage 300 people will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.

• Labour Relations Act (LRA)
• Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
• Employment Equity Act (EEA)
• Skills Development Act ( SDA)
• Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced mining environment Advantageous Experience:

• Exposure to trade union engagement. • Experience working in mining operations or contractor environment.


Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and facilitate disciplinary hearing, grievance processes, and misconduct investigations in accordance with company procedures and the Labour Relations Act.
• Provide guidance to line management on employee relations matters and labour legislation.
• Facilitate consultations with trade unions and employee representatives to promote effective labour relations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentations, and compliance files.
• Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, employment contracts, on-boarding, and employee verification.
• Support HR audits and compliance monitoring to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate training and developments initiatives, including MQA & MERSETA.
• Provide administrative support for payroll processing using Pastel People.
• Prepare HR reports, disciplinary documentation, and HR presentations for management.
